Day 282: Zero Waste Public Consultations

zerowastechallengeMetro Vancouver announced ages ago that it is setting a goal of  Zero Waste for the region.  Goal being the operative word here.  No one expects us to actually produce zero waste, but, as Grant, Rhyannon, and I are discovering, it’s possible to come pretty damn close.

Public consultations are underway right now, so if you want to contribute your two bits to how we can reduce the amount of crap heading for the landfill, come on out.  I guarantee there will be some interesting (and possibly kooky) people who are passionate about garbage.  See you there!
