Day 247: Waste Watch Wednesday-CBC

As promised, here’s the clip of Grant and I on the CBC evening news a couple Friday’s ago.  (I’ll have you know I have since patched Grant’s pants.)

Thanks to Lisa Johnson for coming to interview us and providing us with a youtube link to our two minutes of fame.

Wow guys! That is awesome that you made it onto the news. I bet you inspired a lot of people by doing this.

    Good work!

P.S I tried the popcorn thing, and guess what…IT WORKED! I got scared after hearing about your almost fire, so I took it out a little premature so there still was quite a few un-popped kernels, but it tasted great! I read that if you brushed a bit of olive oil on the cob before you popped the corn it made it taste better and it popped better. I have yet to try this, but I thought I would share.

    wow that was so pro!!

  3. Another excellent video! I’m glad to see that Clean Bin is getting some press.

It’s getting close to the 100 days left mark. Are you going to do anything exciting?

    • Yes, they did a really good job of editing our interview.

You know, I hadn’t thought about it, but we really should do something to celebrate getting this far. 100 days is still a long time to go though!

  4. WOW, great video!! 🙂

    Love it!!

The tiny bins you both show – is this really all you came up with in 7 months?! WOW!!

I bet a lot of people will be inspired with this too!
    /& love your ‘recycling station’!!/
